PUREfrex® is a reconstituted cell-free protein synthesis system developed using the PURE system technology.
Unlike conventional cell-free protein synthesis systems based on crude cell lysates, PUREfrex® contains only individually purified factors required for transcription, translation, and energy regeneration. Every component of the reaction mixture is defined and controlled, allowing researchers to perform protein synthesis in a highly reproducible and customizable environment.
